Water Tower

Location: Barton

A disused Victorian water tower has been reimagined as a dramatic feature within a wider renovation and extension project. Now forming a striking library, the tower houses a central staircase that winds upward through the space, with bespoke bookcases integrated into the stair structure.

A contemporary glazed link connects the tower to the main house, providing a light-filled transition between old and new. This elegant structure accommodates a resistance pool, sauna, and forms part of a new kitchen extension.

The project preserves the tower’s historic fabric while introducing carefully considered modern interventions that support contemporary living within a unique and characterful setting.
