Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire

This project involved the restoration and transformation of a derelict building, breathing new life into its original fabric through a sensitive yet contemporary intervention.

A two-storey extension was added to provide much-needed space, with a modern cedar-clad link creating a clear architectural junction between old and new. Internally, the layout opens up into generous living areas, with full access and views onto the surrounding garden —creating a strong sense of connection between inside and out.

The result is a carefully balanced blend of restoration and modern living.
