16 Maple Lodge

Location: Richmond, North Yorkshire

This project involved the refurbishment and extension of a traditional home, reimagining the rear of the property to take full advantage of its setting and views.

The new extension is defined by exposed glue-laminated timber (glulam) beams and generous areas of high-level glazing, creating a warm, modern space filled with natural light. Framing outward views and drawing the landscape into the home.

“We engaged Matt Ball Architecture to turn a derelict property into an exceptionally beautiful house. He visualised the job, organised the planning and supervised the build. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matt and his team. They are incredibly talented.” Mr and Mrs Cline.
